Develops and leads the Patient Experience Program. Supports the planning and execution of the regional and enterprise-wide Sanford Health Patient Experience initiatives. Oversees a data driven program collecting, tracking and analyzing data trends. The Lead Patient Experience Specialist coordinates improvement efforts related to the Sanford Health Patient Experience. Communicates progress on initiatives and performance. Mentors and trains employees on key strategies to improve performance. Serves as a subject matter expert to other team members and internal customers. Exercises good judgment in determining best methods of solving problems. Ability to lead, build and facilitate teams essential. Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle a large number of projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of constituents, including patients, family, physicians, and hospital leaders.


Delivers written and oral communication, responds to questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes and impact. Participates in the improvement of a specific aspect of the customer experience. Uses key tools, systems and processes to support business insurance operations. Investigates beneath the surface of an issue to focus systematically on root causes. Analyzes data regarding customer likes and dislikes about a given product or service. Mentors others to prepare them for responsibilities. Creates a team environment of accountability and commitment for reaching project goals. Designs workflow, support processes and improvement programs. Streamlines the critical workflow for executing key processes. Generates and interprets a wide range of statistical data and reports.



Current licensure as appropriate to position in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record. Bachelor's Degree required. Area of focus in Business, Healthcare, Marketing or related field preferred. Five years customer service experience required.
