This position can be located remotely.
Provide training to Sanford employees. Customize curriculum and develop training materials to ensure that organizational and stakeholder needs are met. Development of skills to support learning is expected. Must be able to develop strong working relationships, manage projects, facilitate change processes and effectively communicate to achieve organizational goals. Must be able to deliver software-based classroom training in a manner which utilizes adult learning principles and training methods. Demonstrable proficiency in MS Office/Windows applications, analytical decision-making, information gathering, presentation, project management, group facilitation, innovative problem solving, and demonstrable training skills. Flexibility as well as effective planning and organizational skills are required. Effective communication skills are essential: personal, verbal, written, and electronic. Ability to function in a collaborative, fast-paced, customer-driven organization.
Responsible to plan, coordinate, implement, and control the Profile Coach Certification training classes. This would involve traveling to on-site training locations and providing in-person training; utilizing current training platform and involved in creating and updating training resources used via various educational methodologies, especially Microsoft (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word) and Learning Management System tools.
Coordinate Coach Certification efforts including travel, site selection, monitor and support effective on-boarding progress, provide training surveys, communicate training gaps to manager, and provide feedback, coaching, mentoring to new employees.
Assist with program development through creation of CEU courses and materials for coaches; education for members; blog writing; recipe writing.
Support coaches/members with nutrition- and health-related questions, concerns and resources.
Support Profile Business Development, Marketing, Profile Products LLC by providing program information for relevant projects.
Provide Subject Matter Expert training best practices to new Profile Coach Certification Trainers.
Travel expected; up to 50%.
Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: exercise physiology, exercise science, nutrition, health, psychology, or related field required. A minimum of 12 months experience with community or clinical weight loss education (or related setting).
