Job Summary

Provides service delivery, outreach, contract guidance and administrative control over prime contracts, subcontracts, task orders and consulting agreements. Creates, advises, reviews, and recommends modifications, to include updates to contract terms and conditions, administrative changes, option exercise renewal notices, pricing and requirements. Actively pursues federal contract opportunities for Sanford. Creates contract documents, including conflict of interest, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) disclosures, pricing sheets, proposals, and subcontracts. Manages contract and subcontract modifications and update contract summaries and briefs. Identifies potential contractual problems or conflicts, analyze impact and ramifications, and resolve issues. Reviews contract documents, including award documents, modifications and task orders to identify and document legal and contractual requirements.

Creates contract briefs, summaries, and contract files. Organizes and maintains contract files ensure FAR compliance for administration of contracts, including compliance with contract and FAR reporting requirements, and consult with and provide recommendations and documentation support to legal, compliance and operations. Maintains continual internal and external reviews to ensure the resolution of contract-related issues in accordance with customer requirements, contractual requirements, management direction and the FAR.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with government contract laws and reporting requirements, including preparation and filing of reports. Prepares and maintains corporate contract files. Maintains and updates comprehensive calendar of events for timely compliance with contractual requirements. Prepares and disseminates information to internal staff regarding contract status, compliance, audits, modifications, deviation, expiration, termination and closeout activity. Provides advice, recommendations and document preparation support in all areas of the acquisition process; primarily focused on post-award management.

Manages SAM and DUNS accounts to ensure appropriate and timely updates. Works with other Sanford departments to gather required responses to ensure accurate registrations and assurances. Coordinates with legal to ensure compliance on all related contract requirements and performance.


Bachelor's degree in English, business, journalism, communications health care law or a related field required. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree preferred.

Minimum of three years of contracts experience preferred.
