Assists in acquiring, linking and confirming actionable market research insights that drive marketing strategies and competitively differentiate Sanford in the market place. Assists in proposing strategies to marketing leadership and leadership partners that elevate the consumer perspective and support the system’s strategic goals. Provides insights across Sanford's geographic footprint. Conducts research activities to identify and hone customer value insight to optimize customer perceptions and actions in coordination with operations and marketing leaders. Acquires information from secondary sources to profile Sanford in order to aid in identifying points of differentiation and developing a forward-looking strategy. Synthesizes information quickly and portrays customer and market perspective in a tangible, clear manner. Initiates a series of social science methods including customer focus groups, quantitative survey research and observational studies, conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis and using evidence appropriately. Supports Senior Marketing Analysts in appropriate research methods and employs assistance from marketing team to grow expertise throughout the department. Demonstrates system level strategic thinking in every interaction. Displays the ability to be a clear and concise communicator, helping to synthesize large amounts of information into key pieces for stakeholders alongside connecting the information to finished research. Possesses thorough knowledge of human/social behavior and marketing theories. Exhibits initiative in organizing workflow improvements and business processes. Derives insights from intelligence efforts rather than data reports.
Uses logic and intuition to make inferences about the meaning of the data and arrive at conclusions. Seek and provide information to help companies determine their position in the marketplace. Participates in activities that improve own skills and capabilities. Identifies major initiatives, key issues, and benefits of product positioning. Explains the contribution of market research and cost factors to market strategy. Documents and distributes suggestions and ideas, with supporting detail. Develops consistent methods for maintaining customer responsiveness. Demonstrates the ability to speak, write and present clearly.
Bachelor's degree required preferably in marketing, business, statistics, sociology or a healthcare related field.
